Eza Gadson

Eza Gadson brings more than thirteen years of experience in the fixed income markets to Navigate Advisors.  He began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the mid-nineties dealing in a wide array of fixed income cash and derivative products with a select group of institutional investors.  An early participant in the credit derivatives market at Deutsche Bank Securities, Eza focused on credit derivatives, capital-structure arbitrage and illiquid assets.  He later carried that focus to UBS Investment Bank in 2004, building a business that offered hedge funds a unique service proposition focused on capital structure arbitrage using sophisticated models to identify and evaluate implied asset volatility discrepancies across liquid debt and equity instruments.  Most recently, as a Director in UBS’ Fixed Income Division, Eza specialized in finding, structuring, and executing private securitizations of alternative and illiquid assets to create unique investment opportunities for some of the world’s largest hedge funds and bank proprietary trading groups.  As part of that business line he also structured and executed unique hedging solutions for proprietary credit and ABS positions in partnership with hedge fund and insurance company clients.  Eza holds a BA in Public Policy from Brown University in Providence, RI and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University in New York City, NY.
